For Groupe Mutuel, information requests and the ability to contact customer service were essential, features that had to fit the needs of four fields of coverage and expertise, each with different products.
Focusing on the user experience and interactive features, Tinext created a website that is flawless on any device with clear, easy-to-find explanations across more than 2,000 pages, thereby avoiding the need to call or write to the contact centre. Behind the scenes, the requirements were notable: the website receives 1.5 million page views per month with a max of 300 concurrent user sessions. Housing everything on the client’s infrastructure, Tinext integrated the legacy product into the new system and provided a cutting-edge analytics platform, migrating all legacy data. Users at Groupe Mutuel now also log in with various permission levels and content-specific editor groups, mapping them to the corporate security system while operating on a platform where content editing and publishing is simple and easy.

A website relaunch for the insurance company of tomorrow
One of Switzerland’s leading health insurers
Founded in 1890, Groupe Mutuel is one of Switzerland’s leading life and health insurance providers, with over 2,000 employees, five service centres and 34 branches that serve close to 1.4 million private customers and approximately 22,000 corporate customers.
Time constraints, massive content uploads and strict quality requirements
Recognising the growing importance of the Internet in modern society, Groupe Mutuel became aware that its corporate website required a redesign. The company ultimately decided that Magnolia CMS was the best content management system for its needs and, after a detailed presentation, chose Tinext for its ability to rapidly increase the resources available and to manage the transition between the old and new websites.
Quality was a priority for the client, who requires complex graphics produced by internal teams, ergonomics/UX defined and controlled by external experts, and strict validation cycles across the board. Tight timelines were another challenge, with only six months to implement analyses, upload massive amounts of content and introduce several new features.
